Good bright and balanced with an even tone. I started using these almost 40 years ago. Somewhere over the years I changed and went through quite a few different brands and got hooked on D’Adarrio. Which I still like. Nonetheless, these are exceptionally bright and loud strings. I play Taylor acoustics. On one of my lower end, a 214 GA Deluxe, I had just about decided to sell it. I ordered these and all of a sudden I was hearing things I hadn’t heard before on that particular guitar. It brought out the sound like I had never heard before…

Really nice. LOVE these strings. I was looking for something to use on my Breedlove a/e because the usual strings I’ve been using weren’t as loud when I was jamming with my guys. First day of practice with these strings, and the guys were commenting how nice the guitar sounded. They haven’t broken yet, so hopefully they are strong enough for solos. So far, though, I’m very pleased.

I like them Over the years I’ve used many different brands. These, by far, outlast any others I’ve tried. To my old ears they sound as good, or better, than any of the other strings. The sealed plastic bag keeps them from air and moisture which keeps them from tarnishing.
